Data Analytics and Business Decisions Research Group focus on optimized strategies using descriptive and predictive analytics to produce data-driven insights that in turn generate impressive business decisions. The research group utilize state-of-the-art analytics and optimization tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and relationships using which businesses can make informed decisions. By conducting research and publishing findings, the group will help businesses better understand the benefits of data analytics and how to implement it effectively.

Objectives:
To achieve its aim, the data analytics and business decisions research group consider a range of activities, including:
- To conduct cutting-edge research into new methods and techniques for data analysis, such as machine learning, data mining, and natural language processing.
- To develop innovative applications of data analytics, such as predictive analytics, supply chain optimization, and customer segmentation.
- To collaborate with academic and industry partners to share knowledge and expertise, and to develop new solutions to business challenges.
- To provide training and education to help businesses understand the value of data analytics and how to use it effectively in their operations.
- To contribute to the development of standards and best practices in the field of data analytics, and advocate for the use of data-driven decision-making in business.

Text and Sentiment Analysis
Investigating methods for extracting insights and sentiments from textual data sources such as customer reviews, social media posts, and survey responses. This research area involves natural language processing, sentiment analysis, and text-mining techniques.
Predictive Analytics
Developing and improving algorithms and models for predicting future business outcomes based on historical data. This could include techniques such as regression analysis, time series analysis, machine learning, and data mining.
Data Visualization
Exploring techniques and tools for effectively communicating complex data and analysis results to stakeholders. This area focuses on developing visual representations that enhance understanding, aid decision-making, and facilitate insights.
